GATHER INFORMATION + IDEAS

  • It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Now what ? . . .

This was a mix - and - match between finding things and piecing them together in Sketch. I spent a good amount of time on UnSplash looking at Koala pictures. Newsletters and Science can be tough to read and also people tend to lose interest when reading more fact content versus story content. So how do I utilize visual language, which people remember or is 80 something percent more effective than just writing. And with the bounty of articles and facts out there, how do I choose what info to put together/ prioritize on the article and how do I (hierarchically) place the content, both written and visual together in a way that keeps people reading, makes sense, is a quick read, since people spend (seconds/minutes) reading something, Almost like a bite of reading or an express read that is just as potent or maybe more potent due to being able to take it in and have the info connect to them , the user , and to be relevant to their lives - the language, content, and presentation. - email, length, and clean vs “other newsletters” - make it like a newsletter but science focused.

  • Connect science to the user !!! Design decisions for them.
